CMF alerts about entity that is neither enrolled nor authorized to provide regulated services

September 2, 2026 - The Financial Market Commission (CMF) informs investors and the public that E-PANDA FINANCIERO SpA is neither enrolled nor authorized to provide services regulated by the Fintech Act.

The entity began its application procedure to obtain the required authorization to provide such services. However, said procedure was abandoned on September 23, 2025. Therefore, E-PANDA FINANCIERO SpA cannot provide services set forth in Article 2 of Law No. 21,521.

Dealing with unregistered or unauthorized entities poses a risk to the public and investors. Therefore, the CMF recommends that individuals always seek more information about the products, individuals, and companies they are considering investing in or receiving advice from before making an investment.

Specifically, they can take the following actions to avoid potential scams:

  • Check the CMF website to confirm whether the relevant company is registered in Chile and supervised by the CMF.
  • Use popular Internet search engines to identify any complaints or negative feedback about the company through its name, directors, and the products being considered for investment.

The Commission also reminds the public that interested parties can verify on the CMF website whether an entity or person offering financial products or services is supervised by the CMF; check alerts issued by the CMF and other foreign regulators on unregulated entities or activities; and other important advice for the protection of investors, policyholders, and financial clients.
