CMF sanctions six Professional Sports Organizations for violating their continuous reporting duties
July 03, 2026.- The Financial Market Commission (CMF) informs that its Board sanctioned six Professional Sports Organizations (ODP) for violating their continuous reporting duties by failing to submit periodic financial information to the CMF within the timeframe established in the regulations.
General Rule No. 201 stipulates that ODPs must send their Annual Report to the CMF within the four-month period following the close of the financial year, while their quarterly financial information must be submitted within 30 days of the close of the respective quarter.
According to Exempt Resolution No. 6,782, the entities sanctioned for failing to submit their periodic financial information in a timely manner are the following:
The Resolution highlighted the importance of submitting the continuous information to which these entities are subject, as it allows the CMF and other users to have access to updated information.
