CMF sanctions Savings and Credit Cooperative for failing to send its clients their term savings account statements

September 14, 2026 - The Board of the Financial Market Commission (CMF) sanctioned Cooperativa de Ahorro y Crédito Unión Aérea Limitada with a fine of UF 100.

Per Resolution No. 9,558, between March 2022 and October 2024 the cooperative did not send account statements to 10,079 term savings account holders.

In determining the sanction, the Resolution considered that the operational defect was fixed and the information was available to users through other means.
