CMF issues regulation allowing mass report of deferred claims’ closure
An amendment to Circular Letter No. 2,110 allows supervised entities to massively report data on the closure of deferred claims, which is currently done individually.
September 8, 2026 - The Financial Market Commission (CMF) issued today a regulation amending Circular Letter No. 2,110 to facilitate reporting of data regarding the closure of deferred claims.
This amendment will allow insurance companies and claim liquidators to mass-report these closures through CMF Supervisa, thus facilitating compliance with current requirements.
The regulation becomes effective on February 1, 2027. As of that date, entities can submit their data through the new mass-report form, even though the individual report form will still be available.
The regulation is available in the Regulations section of the CMF website.
