June 4, 2026 - The Board of the Financial Market Commission (CMF) applied a sanction of censure against Chubb Seguros Chile S.A. and Banchile Corredores de Seguros Limitada for selling policies whose coverage did not comply with Law No. 20,009, as well as for failing to follow instructions.
Per Resolution No. 5,645, both Chubb and Banchile were involved in the sale of policies that included coverage inconsistent with the regulations then in force under Law No. 20,009.
Factors such as the materiality of the case - which was deemed low - and the fact that the companies corrected their conduct were considered for determining the sanctions.
