December 30, 2025 - The Financial Market Commission (CMF) announces that it ranked as a "Model Institution" with 83.1 points in the 6th edition of the Public Innovation Index carried out by the Government Laboratory and the Inter-American Development Bank.
Said score increased by 13.9 points versus the 2024 measurement because of progress in all analyzed dimensions. The CMF scored 18 points out of 20 on Institutional Resources, partly thanks to the Human Talent variable since it has 29 staff members dedicated to innovation-related functions, in addition to increasing training in this area.
As for Practices and Procedures, the Commission scored 34.2 points out of 40 thanks to greater methodological robustness in initiatives' cycles, and the adoption of structured procedures to measure its innovations' performance and effectiveness.
The growth is also boosted by the Cooperation and Openness dimension, where the CMF got 30.9 out of 40 points. It intensified active user participation in co-creation processes and increased joint work with other government agencies, academia, and the private sector.
The "Model Institution" seal means that innovation in the Commission is institutionalized; aligned with a Digital Strategy; supported by upper management; managed with clear governance; and includes participation of civil servants, users, and external contributors. It generates high public value in a sustainable and replicable manner as a model to follow by the State. This achievement evidences the CMF's institutional capacity to innovate and reflects sustained evolution over time.
