CMF updates list of providers of payment processing services allowed to carry out cross-border processing

These entities fulfill requirements set forth in the transitory dispositions of Chapter III.J.2 of the Compendium of Financial Standards of the Central Bank of Chile, amended in July 2024.

March 4, 2025 - After receiving the corresponding statements of intention to adapt their activities to regulated cross-border processing terms stated in Chapter III.J.2 of the Compendium of Financial Standards of the Central Bank of Chile, the Financial Market Commission (CMF) announces that the following providers of payment processing services (PPPS) are allowed to continue carrying out cross-border processing operations:

ALPS SpA.
EBANX Chile Limitada.
Inversiones y Asesorías Integral Solutions SpA.
PayU Chile S.A.
Dlocal Chile SpA.
Bamboo Payment Systems Chile SpA.
PagSeguro Chile SpA.
Payku SpA.
PPRO Chile SpA.
Flow S.A.
Pay Retailers Chile SpA.
Kushki Chile SpA.

The CMF regulation bringing regulatory amendments in line with the III.J series of Chapters in the Compendium of Financial Standards is under revision after its public consultation ended on February 7, 2025. Upon issuance of the final version of said regulation, all PPPS firms conducting cross-border processing activities will have to comply with the necessary enrollment conditions before December 2025.
