CMF deploys Citizen Service Modules in fire-affected areas of the Valparaíso Region

Interested parties can obtain information on their insurance and that of their relatives; verify their coverage; and get orientation on the necessary procedures for starting a collection process.

They can also access the CMF's Debt Report, which details their financial obligations (both current and in arrears) with institutions supervised by the Commission.

February 13, 2024 - The Financial Market Commission (CMF) announces the deployment of Citizen Service Modules in areas affected by recent fires in the Valparaíso Region, specifically in sectors of the municipalities of Viña del Mar and Quilpué. This initiative, carried out jointly with other public services deployed in the area, including the Social Security Institute, aims to provide individuals with access to information and orientation to complete procedures in an efficient and timely manner.

Through the Commission's Citizen Service Modules, which will operate in a first stage this Wednesday and Thursday in upper sectors of Viña del Mar and Quilpué, interested parties can:

  • Know their insurance policies and that of their relatives, and verify the coverage offered in the event of material losses caused by fire.
  • Get assistance and orientation on the necessary procedures to start an insurance collection process and be compensated for suffered damages.
  • Obtain the Debt Report issued by the CMF, which details debts (both current and in arrears) individuals have incurred with entities supervised by the Commission: banks, cooperatives, and non-banking credit card issuers.

More information on the location of the CMF Citizen Service Modules is available on the CMF website and its social media accounts.
