CMF appoints new Civil Society Council members

According to Law 20,500, the Civil Society Council is a consultative, autonomous entity composed of trade union representatives, non-governmental organizations, academics, and members of the Commission.

July 21, 2021 - The Financial Market Commission (CMF) has published Resolution No. 3,364, which appoints the new members of its Civil Society Council. According to Law 20,500, the Civil Society Council is a consultative, autonomous entity composed of trade union representatives, non-governmental organizations, academics, and members of the Commission.

The Council will be chaired by CMF Commissioner Augusto Iglesias and will include representatives of the ChileMujeres Foundation; three different universities (Chile; Catholic; and Adolfo Ibáñez); the Catholic University's Center for Corporate Governance; the Chilean Organization of Consumers and Users (ODECU); the CREE school of Cerro Navia; and the Carlos Vial Espantoso Foundation.
