- The Mutual Funds Portal provides clear, simple information on profitability, costs, portfolios, and industry activity.
- The CMF updates the platform with data as of September 2025 and implements relevant user experience improvements - including a new section on share series for mutual funds operating through digital means.
December 4, 2025 - The Financial Market Commission (CMF) updated its Mutual Funds Portal with information as of September 2025, strengthening its delivery of accessible, transparent data on the industry. The mutual funds industry in Chile currently manages total investments exceeding USD 85 billion and has over 3.7 million participants, consolidating itself as a key source of savings in the economy.
Improvements in this new version include:
- Digital series incorporated into Profitability Module. Digital series are shares of the same fund contracted and managed exclusively through remote means - such as the fund manager's website or app. They are usually aimed at retail investors. Given their lower costs, digital series generally offer higher returns than non-digital series. This new section complements previous information presented in the Costs Section and provides more comprehensive information regarding offerings of digital series.
- Improvements to Costs Module. The "Comparison" section simplifies the selection of series, facilitating comparison with other competing funds. Additionally, a link to the general fund manager's website is included for managers that have it available, allowing investors to learn about their offerings.
The CMF will continue its quarterly updates to the Portal in line with its objective of providing clear, accessible information to investors.
