CMF issues amendments to Information Systems Manual for Funds

General Rule No. 532, containing the ISMF (information requirements for funds and their managers to comply with before the CMF), is amended.

November 21, 2025 - The Financial Market Commission (CMF) issued today a regulation amending General Rule No. 532 on the Information Systems Manual for Funds (ISMF), postponing its entry into force until June 1, 2026.

The ISMF contains instructions on submission of information to supervise both general fund managers and their funds. These entities are regulated by Law No. 20,712.

The regulation aims to clarify reporting instructions, optimize information submission structures, and refine the design of requirements established in General Rule No. 532. It introduces the following amendments:

  • Includes additional fields and instructions to submit regulatory files.
  • Adjusts the Funds 02 regulatory file, which replaces the mandatory submission of registries 01, 02, 03 and 04 with the obligation of reporting transactions in derivative instruments of managed funds to the Central Bank of Chile through SIID-TR.
  • Adjusts calculation structure for funds' cost rates in the Funds 03 regulatory file.
  • Repeals obligation of submitting the XML file with main variables of internal fund regulations.
  • Incorporates a set of general tables into the ISMF for use by fund managers when submitting information.

These amendments will become effective upon issuance of the regulation, and the submission of information through the ISMF starts in June 2026. However, reporting entities shall continue submitting information pursuant to current regulations until November 2026.
