June 15, 2026 - The Financial Market Commission (CMF) announces a six-month postponement of the entry into force of Circular Letter No. 2,364, which bans banks from granting loans to their directors, authorized representatives, and related parties.
Circular Letter No. 2,364, issued on June 19, 2025, introduced changes to the definition of companies subject to that ban.
Given the regulatory costs associated with implementing the regulation, and in accordance with its authority, the CMF decided to postpone the effective date of the new regulation until December 26, 2026.
