CMF Deputy Chairman Rosario Celedón to participate in the 20th meeting of authorities of the Ibero-American Securities Market Institute

November 9, 2018.- With the aim of further strengthening the international presence of the Financial Market Commission (CMF), Deputy Chairman Rosario Celedón will participate in the 20th meeting of authorities of the Ibero-American Securities Market Institute (IIMV, for its Spanish acronym). The event will take place between November 12 and 14 in Buenos Aires, as part of the 50th anniversary of the Argentine National Securities Commission (CNV, for its Spanish acronym).

The purpose of this meeting, attended by the highest regulatory authorities of Ibero-American securities markets, is to address issues related to sustainable finance and green finance; the development of the stock market; challenges and opportunities posed by new technologies; challenges and trends in the regulation of capital markets in terms of regional integration; cryptoassets; and financing of SMEs, among other topics.

At the CNV's anniversary meeting, Commissioner Celedón will participate as speaker in the panel named "Challenges and Trends in Capital Market Regulation" alongside other regulators from the region.

The IIMV is comprised of regulatory authorities from Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua, Mexico, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, Portugal, Spain, Uruguay, and Venezuela.
